However, too many holes left unfilled either there's going to be another book or thus one was incomplete. I'm hoping for the former.
Opposites really do attract. One woman, a Texas cowgirl and a California prima donna meet and fall in love. Sometimes you meet the right one. I would recommend this book to my friends.
Expected so much more. Characters not fully developed. Plot dies at the end. Even though Darcy and Elizabeth appeared to be the main characters their story seems unresolved in a rushed ending.
Not very romantic.
The book is an enjoyable and amusing read. It's a romance, and is definitely formulaic in that regard. I liked that the author did not rely upon overly-descriptive sexual encounters but focused more on the other interactions of the characters.
I loved and lusted after both Darcy and Elizabeth - just really strong, sexy and interesting characters. I would also like to see Carolyn find some peace - this town really messed with her and she needs her own love story.
So this book started off with pretty good promise and developed in a very nice steady way. However, I feel the characters weren't as developed as they could be and the fears and issues that were touched upon never really took any hold. It's a very light-hearted book with very little tension and many happy moments.
